Strengthening partnerships between Jordan, Iraq, and the region through an economic forum

The Economic Forum for Financial, Industrial, and Commercial Partnerships between Jordan, Iraq, and the region opened on Sunday. The forum was organized by the Iraqi Business Council in partnership with the Jordanian and Amman Chambers of Industry and will take place over two days at the King Hussein Convention Center in the Dead Sea region.

The forum was addressed by Jordanian Minister of Investment Kholoud Al-Saqqaf and Dr. Kamel Al-Dulaimi representing the Iraqi President, as well as ministers and officials from both countries, Arab and foreign business owners and investors. They all highlighted the collaboration of several parties in organizing the forum.

The goal is to deepen mutual understanding between participating countries and pave the way for future development of the region. The new investment environment law in Jordan was emphasized by Al-Saqqaf, which promotes equality between foreign and local investors, guarantees legislative stability, expands economic activity, offers incentives such as customs exemptions, tax discounts, incentives for export markets, high-value-added activities, knowledge transfer
