In recent news, Foxtrot, a brand that was recently acquired by Dom’s Hospitality in Chicago, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. As a result, all of its stores in Texas, D.C., and Illinois have been closed. The Dallas locations of Foxtrot have been marked as permanently closed on Google Maps and the brand’s website has been taken down.

The closure was first reported in the newsletter Snaxshot, which noted that Dom’s did not place its usual grocery order last week. On Tuesday morning, employees of Foxtrot were informed of the closure during a conference call and instructed not to discuss it with customers. The company, which has around 1,000 workers across multiple states, appointed a new CEO in February 2024.

Foxtrot had four locations in Dallas, including one on Greenville Ave., Knox-Henderson, Uptown on Hillcrest and McKinney. However, as of press time, no official comment from Eater Dallas regarding the closure had been received.
