From Salvador to Rio: The Tragic Death of Israeli Woman Alma Buadana and the Mysteries Surrounding Her Fall

Investigations into the death of Israeli citizen Alma Buadana in Brazil are underway

An Israeli woman named Alma Buadana died tragically in Rio de Janeiro on May 7. She had been living in Brazil for three months, initially residing in Salvador before moving to Rio just ten days before her death. The incident occurred when she was walking with a companion near Mount Corcovado.

According to her companion, they were approached by a motorcyclist who they thought was a robber, causing Alma to fall from a 15-meter height and lose her life. However, inconsistencies in the companion’s testimony have raised suspicions among homicide detectives. He mentioned both a motorcyclist and someone in a red car during interrogations, which has complicated the investigation.

The police are continuing to uncover the truth behind Alma’s death, with suspicions surrounding her companion and the events leading up to her fatal fall. Meanwhile, the Israeli Foreign Ministry offered their condolences and assistance in repatriating Alma’s body to Israel for burial.
