Gaffney Man with Health Concerns Goes Missing while Out for a Fishing Trip: Search Continues

Authorities are looking for 71-year-old individual with health issues who has gone missing

The search is on for Billy Kearse, a 71-year-old man who went missing from his home in Gaffney, South Carolina. Last seen walking along Ann’s Trail near Scruggs Trail around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Kearse was accompanied by his small Chihuahua dog and was heading out to go fishing.

Kearse has several health concerns, including a tracheotomy and the use of a voice box amplifier. He stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with shoulder-length gray hair and a tattoo on his left upper arm that reads “Jennie.”
