Global Water Leaders Gather in Bali for the 10th Edition of World Water Forum

The 10th edition of the World Water Forum, which is a large gathering of stakeholders in the water sector, will be jointly organized by the World Water Council and the Republic of Indonesia. This event, which takes place every three years, will be held from 18 to 24 May 2024 in Bali and is expected to attract 30,000 participants from 172 countries.

UNEP is organizing several events at the World Water Forum that cover a range of topics related to water management and sustainability. These events include discussions on urgent calls to save lakes, innovative approaches to basin-scale water quality, smart water management capabilities, prosperity across the water cycle, global health approaches in monitoring, sustainable lake management, transformative change for a Water-Smart Society, global initiatives for water security, and governance for circular water and resource management.
