Alex Nedeljkovic selected to represent Team USA in IIHF World Championship

Alex Nedeljkovic has been chosen to represent Team USA at the 2024 IIHF World Championship, which will take place in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia from May 10-26. This is Nedeljkovic’s first time playing for Team USA at the World Championship.

Nedeljkovic, 28, joined the Pittsburgh team this season as a free agent on July 1, 2023. In his first year with the Penguins, he played in 38 games with 33 starts and achieved a record of 18-7-7 with a 2.97 goals-against average, .902 save percentage, and one shutout. During the final ten games of the season, he went undefeated with a record of 7-0-3 and a goals-against average of just 2.81 while maintaining a save percentage of .905.

The schedule for Team USA’s Preliminary Round has been released, and all games will be broadcasted on NHL Network. With his outstanding performance throughout the season, Nedeljkovic is determined to make a significant impact for Team USA at the World Championship.
