Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan, has purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville for over $2.8 million to build a new location for their Lake Charles-based daiquiri chain. The Trahans plan to divide the land into five lots, with their business located on the southern end of the property. They hope to start construction in the fall and sell the remaining lots to other businesses.
In addition to the new location in Youngsville, the Trahans have plans to expand their daiquiri chain in the Lafayette area by adding five or six additional locations, as well as expanding to Baton Rouge. Currently, Paradise Grill & Daiquiris has locations in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, and Sulphur, with another Lake Charles location set to open on May 1st.
The Trahans had previously purchased 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near the Metairie Center shopping center in Youngsville for $555,000 in 2022 but later sold it for $800,000 to a Baton Rouge-based development group due to an offer that came in right before construction was set to begin.
