This week’s local events feature a range of high school sports competitions taking place at different locations. On Monday, Terra Linda will play prep baseball at Branson College of Marin, while the NCS D-II tournament for boys golf will be held all day at Peacock Gap. Meanwhile, Mt. Diablo will face San Rafael in a prep softball match at 4:30 p.m. at San Rafael High School, and the NCS D-II singles and doubles matches for boys tennis will be held at Golden Gate Park.
Moving on to Tuesday, May 7, there is an even busier schedule packed with high school sports action. In prep baseball, the MCAL semifinals will feature Marin Catholic vs Redwood and Novato vs San Marin both starting at 4:30 p.m. Boys lacrosse fans will also have a treat as Monte Vista takes on Marin Catholic and De La Salle faces Redwood in NCS D-I games, both starting at 5:30 p.m. Girls lacrosse matchups include Marin Catholic vs Redwood and Acalanes vs San Marin starting at 5:30 p.m., respectively.
Tuesday also sees several boys tennis competitions taking place throughout the day in different locations including Heritage vs Redwood, Marin Academy vs Arcata, Middletown vs Branson, San Domenico vs Head-Royce and Marin Catholic vs Piedmont with matches starting various times throughout the day in different locations. It’s shaping up to be an exciting couple of days for local high school sports enthusiasts!
