Instagram’s New Music-Based Features Revolutionize the Creative Aspect of Stories

New Instagram features: hidden posts and music sharing options

Instagram has recently added new features to its Stories section that allow users to share songs and collaborate with others through music. The update includes four new stickers, including “Add Yours Music,” an extension of the existing “Add Yours” feature. This sticker allows users to create response threads in their stories and invite others to contribute related stories by sharing songs available in Instagram’s library.

Another tool, called “Frames,” converts any image into a Polaroid-style frame that followers must shake their smartphone to reveal, mimicking the action of developing a photograph. The “To Reveal” sticker lets users publish hidden stories that can only be viewed by sending a direct message (DM) to the user, along with a clue about the hidden image. To access this feature, followers must send a DM, and there is no need for the user to approve each DM received.

In addition, Instagram has introduced “Clippings,” which turns any video or photo in a reel into a personalized “sticker.” This feature can be used with content from the device’s gallery or with eligible photos shared by public accounts on Instagram.

Overall, these new features aim to enhance the creative and collaborative aspect of Instagram Stories, giving users more ways to express themselves and engage with their followers through music.
