Israel Defense Forces Strengthens Ground Forces with 376 Million Shekel Equipment Deal with IMCO

Israeli Ministry of Defense to Buy Domestic Armored Vehicle Equipment

The Israeli Ministry of Defense has recently struck a four-year deal with local company IMCO to provide equipment for the IDF’s armored vehicles. The agreement, worth approximately 376 million shekels, will see the provision of equipment for Merkava tanks as well as Namer and Eitan armored personnel carriers.

The decision to make this investment was influenced by the lessons learned from the War of Iron Swords. With a specific focus on improving armored military equipment, this agreement is expected to enhance the capabilities of the ground forces and contribute to the overall readiness and effectiveness of the IDF in fulfilling its defense objectives.
