Kaleidescape’s On-Demand Cinema Service: Revolutionizing the Movie Theater Industry with High-Tech Access to Library Titles

Kaleidescape launches new library service for cinema business expansion

Kaleidescape, a leading company in luxury home entertainment technology, has announced its entry into the cinema business with an “on demand” service for library titles. This move by the company aims to attract more moviegoers to theaters and create additional revenue opportunities for content owners and exhibitors by showcasing a wider variety of films.

Kaleidescape’s plan involves selling its hardware to theater owners, providing encrypted content, and allowing all revenue to remain between the studio and the exhibitor with no cut taken by Kaleidescape. Several major theater chains, including Alamo, Brenden, B&B Theatres, and others, have already signed up for a pilot program for the new service. In addition to this, Kaleidescape has already secured its first major studio content provider for the project.

CEO Chris Johnson of Classic Cinemas is excited about this service as it simplifies bookings and fulfillment processes while offering access to a vast library of titles. He also sees potential for generating additional revenue through showing library titles and creating themed screenings to generate excitement among customers. To enhance user experience, Kaleidescape has partnered with cinema tech developer GDC to integrate its service into the GoGoCinema app.

This expansion into the cinema business is expected to bring significant benefits not only to Kaleidescape but also to other stakeholders in the industry. It will offer moviegoers more options on what they can watch on big screens while creating new revenue streams for content owners and exhibitors alike. With its expertise in high-tech movie players and servers, Kaleidescape is well-positioned to take advantage of this growing market trend towards on-demand entertainment services.
