Kandiyohi County Board Meeting: Proclamations, Presentations and Updates for May 7th

Children, Families, and Mental Health to Be Discussed on the Kandiyohi County Board Agenda – West Central Tribune

The May 7 Kandiyohi County Board meeting will feature several proclamations, including May as Mental Health Month and Foster Care Appreciation Month. On May 9, Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day will be celebrated and on May 10, Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. Presentations on mental health services and foster care in the county will be given by Kandiyohi County’s Health and Human Services, as well as presentations from Woodland Centers and the United Community Action Partnership Parent Support Outreach Program.

Other items on the agenda include the discussion and approval of the 2024 Community Crime Intervention and Prevention Grant contract, bid awards for the reconstruction of County Road 7 and the 2024 bituminous surfacing projects.
