The Pool Regulation Authority (PRA) has confirmed that all World Nineball Tour (“WNT”) Matchroom Open and Invitational events, excluding the World Pool Championship, are sanctioned solely by the PRA.
Recent statements made by the World Pool Association (WPA) incorrectly stated that certain WNT events were also sanctioned by the WPA and listed as such on their website. However, Matchroom wants to clarify that this information is inaccurate. The only Matchroom event sanctioned by the WPA is the World Pool Championship.
Matchroom acknowledges that there may be confusion caused by the misinformation previously provided by the WPA. It is important to note that all other WNT Matchroom events are officially sanctioned by the PRA.
