Mizzou Baseball Completes Four-Game Sweep Over Lindenwood with 13-1 Victory in Seven Innings

On Tuesday, Mizzou baseball returned home after a weekend sweep at the hands of Tennessee to take on Lindenwood. The Tigers secured a 13-1 win in just seven innings, completing the season sweep. Javyn Pimental started on the mound for Mizzou, pitching a scoreless first inning before Kaden Jacobi took over for the next three innings, allowing just one run in the process.

Mizzou’s offense kicked off early in the game, with Justin Colon bringing Danny Corona home to give Mizzou a 1-0 lead in the first inning. In the fourth inning, the game was tied at one before Mizzou ignited their offense. The inning began with Jackson Beaman hitting a solo home run, followed by freshman Jack Holubowski’s first career hit with a single.
