Nizza Sequeira, a public information officer for the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector Control District, announced that 33 of its workers have joined Teamsters Local 665. This decision was made unanimously by the workers, who play a crucial role in protecting the health and well-being of residents in Marin and Sonoma counties from mosquitoes and vector-borne diseases.

Mike Yates, President of Teamsters Local 665 in San Francisco, congratulated the new members on their decision to join the union. These workers are responsible for various tasks such as mosquito control, delivering mosquitofish, controlling ground nesting yellowjackets, and providing advice on rodent prevention and control.
