NBC Chicago reports: Authorities seeking suspect accused of child sex abuse at Museum of Science and Industry

A young girl was sexually abused at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago on Thursday while she was separated from her group. The incident took place on the second floor of the museum, where the suspect led her to the restroom. While in the stall, he touched her genital area and fled when she kicked towards him.

The suspect is described as being between 30 to 40 years old, weighing between 160 to 180 pounds and standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall to 6 feet 3 inches tall. He has curly, light brown hair, a beard, and a tattoo on his neck of a roaring lion. Chicago police have issued a community alert and are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact the Bureau of Detectives Special Investigations Unit at 312-492-3810.
