NASCAR Weekend: Christopher Bell Secures Pole for Cup Race, Kyle Busch Continues Remarkable Run

Christopher Bell Claims Pole Position for NASCAR Cup Race at Kansas

This week at Kansas Speedway, Christopher Bell secured the No. 1 starting position for Sunday’s Cup race. This marks Bell’s first pole of the season as a driver for Joe Gibbs Racing. His teammate, Ross Chastain will be starting second, followed by Noah Gragson in a career-high third position.

Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch will start fourth and fifth, respectively. Larson continues to perform well with this being his sixth top-five starting position in 12 races this year. On the other hand, Kyle Busch has had a remarkable run lately, claiming the pole at Dover last week and starting fourth at Talladega the week before.

It’s worth noting that this is the third consecutive week that Kyle Busch has started in the top five. William Byron, who has three wins this season, will be starting a season-low 36th place after hitting the wall during his qualifying run. The race is set to begin at 3:13 p.m. ET on FS1.
