Stanford Medicine and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) are co-hosting a symposium on the future of AI in biomedicine. This event, which will take place on May 14, aims to bring together experts from various sectors to define a path for AI in biomedicine and ensure that its use benefits society. The RAISE Health symposium is designed to provide attendees with an opportunity to hear from world-class experts who will engage in discussions on critical issues related to the responsible development and use of this technology. The symposium’s opening remarks will be delivered by HAI co-director Fei-Fei Li, PhD, and Lloyd Minor, MD, dean of the Stanford School of Medicine and vice president for health affairs at Stanford University.
