David Flaspohler has been appointed as the new Dean of the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Sciences at Michigan Technological University. He was selected after an extensive national search and has been serving as the interim dean since 2022. Flaspohler has been teaching at the university since 1998 and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Wildlife Ecology and a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin.
