New Season, New Challenges: 2024 Elite DH World Cup Takes Off at Fort William

Fort William DH World Cup 2024: Live Elite Finals Results and Updates

The first Elite DH World Cup of the year is currently underway at Fort William, and viewers are encouraged to stay tuned for live results and updates. The Elite Women’s Race has already begun, with Phoebe Gale setting an early pace to beat of 4:52.709, putting her ahead of Vali Höll’s semi-final winning time.

Enduro specialist Gloria Scarsi has taken an early lead, sitting in the hot seat with a four-second advantage as the second rider to beat Höll’s time. However, other racers like Mille Johnset and Anna Newkirk have faced challenges during their runs, with Johnset falling behind after getting caught off the track on the final jumps.

Marine Cabirou currently holds second place, unable to match Scarsi’s time, while Nina Hoffmann has shown strength on the top half of the course, leading by over six and a half seconds after the second track sector. Hoffmann ultimately finishes her run in the lead, with Camille Balanche following in second place.

Tahnee Seagrave, who was in the lead during the first sector, falls behind Hoffmann after split two, ending her run in second place, 1.27 seconds behind the leader. Vali Höll remains the only rider who can potentially prevent Hoffmann from winning the first round of the 2024 season.
