The Northeastern Varsity Eight has been named the CAA Boat of the Week for the 2024 season. The Huskies finished fourth in the Grand Final of the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond, with a remarkable effort led by Camille Arnold-Mages (Cox), Isla Bathgate (Stroke), Firinne Rolfe (7), Ellexi Fulton (6), Iris Cotrupi (5), Heather Taylor (4), Grace Theobald (3), Julia Halbreich (2), and Jordan Hillyard (Bow). They crossed the finish line in 7:02.588, ahead of Boston University and Dartmouth.
Throughout the season, Northeastern Varsity Eight has had a strong performance, earning multiple Boat of the Week awards. The team advanced to the Grand Final by winning their heat in 6:55.658, besting Columbia, URI, Michigan State, Marist, and Colgate.
