Philadelphia Eagles Secure Jordan Mailata for Another Three Years, Paying Him $66 Million in New Contract Extension

Jordan Mailata and Eagles Reach Agreement on Three-Year Contract Extension

The Philadelphia Eagles have secured the services of their left tackle, Jordan Mailata, for another three years. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Mailata has signed an extension that will keep him with the team through 2028. The deal is worth $66 million, with $48 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus. Prior to this extension, Mailata was already under contract with the Eagles through 2025.

Originally from Australia where he played rugby, Mailata was drafted by the Eagles in the seventh round in 2018. He made his regular-season debut in 2020 and has been the team’s starting left tackle since then, playing every offensive snap for the team in 2023. With this new contract, Mailata is now one of the highest-paid offensive tackles in the NFL.
