Community Health Needs Assessment seeks input from ECU Health

In Greenville, N.C., ECU Health is currently seeking feedback from community members across eastern North Carolina to conduct its Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This assessment is conducted every three years and helps identify the most pressing health issues affecting the region. The survey provides valuable insights into demographics, socioeconomic factors, and health-related statistics.

The CHNA survey is open to all community members aged 15 and older and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential, and the feedback provided helps ensure that health care needs are met in the 29 counties served by ECU Health. The survey will be open until June 7, 2024.

The results of the completed CHNA analysis serve as a basis for prioritizing strategies to improve the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. However, it’s important to note that the most valuable feedback comes directly from community members themselves. By participating in the survey, community members can play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in eastern North Carolina.

ECU Health encourages all interested individuals to visit its website at ECUHealth.org/CHNA to access the survey in both English and Spanish language versions. It’s important for everyone to contribute their voice by completing this vital survey so that ECU Health can continue providing high-quality healthcare services to those who need them most.
