Application for Polk State Cardiovascular Technology program for the 2024-25 school year available starting April 15th

Polk State College’s Cardiovascular Technology Program for the 2024-2025 Academic Year is now open for applications from April 15 to June 30. This program provides students with an Associate in Science in Cardiovascular Technology, preparing them for careers as cardiovascular technologists. These professionals assist physicians during procedures such as angioplasty and stenting, monitor patients’ hemodynamic status, and provide pre- and post-procedural care. Graduates of this program can find employment in cardiac catheterization labs in hospitals and freestanding clinics as healthcare associates.

The success of the Polk State Cardiovascular Technology Program is evident through its 100% job-placement rate from 2020-2022 and a 90% credentialing exam pass rate on first attempts during the same time period.
