Praying the Rosary for the intercession of Our Lady in the global conflicts plaguing the world

On the Feast of Our Lady of Pompeii, Pope Francis called on the faithful to pray the Rosary and entrust to Mary the wars and conflicts in the Holy Land, Ukraine, and Myanmar. In his message, he emphasized the importance of rediscovering the great value of praying the Rosary at the conclusion of his General Audience in Vatican City.

Pope Francis also highlighted the celebration of Our Lady of Pompeii on May 8th, a day dedicated to honoring Mary as an advocate for all people. He invited everyone to invoke Mary’s intercession for peace in these troubled regions.

In addition to praying for peace, Pope Francis also asked that we value the practice of praying the Holy Rosary during this month. He entrusted young people, those who are sick or elderly, and newlyweds present at the audience to Mary’s care before imparting his Apostolic Blessing upon everyone present.

The Pope’s message was clear: We must turn to Mary for guidance and strength as we face difficult times. By praying together with her, we can find hope and peace in even the darkest moments. Let us continue to honor Mary as our Mother and our Savior by invoking her intercession daily.
