Osceola County Selects Site and Plans to Hire Architect for $7.1 Million Technology Library Concept

The Osceola County library is set to receive a $7.1 million technology upgrade, with construction beginning on an 8,000-square-foot building featuring cutting-edge amenities. The library will feature dedicated rooms for 3D printing, artificial intelligence learning and coding, virtual and augmented reality, as well as a laser engraver. Additionally, there will be e-sports and co-working space for businesses, along with public computers available for use. This innovative project aims to provide residents with access to the latest technology resources and tools in order to support education, innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.

The county has issued a request for proposals for an architect to bring this vision to life and create a space that will benefit residents of all ages and interests.
