A national semiconductor laboratory is needed in Vietnam

Professor Lee Young Hee from Korea emphasized the importance of investing in human resources and infrastructure to develop high-quality personnel for the semiconductor industry. During his business trip to Hanoi, he discussed the challenges facing the semiconductor industry and the need for new technologies to replace silicon.

He highlighted the role of human resources and emphasized the importance of training and education in the semiconductor field. Professor Lee Young Hee proposed the establishment of a National laboratory focused on semiconductor research and development, as well as training high-quality personnel for the industry.

He also stressed the need for infrastructure improvement and modern equipment in universities to support the development of the semiconductor industry. He shared his experience of working with Vietnamese students and admired their dedicated and innovative spirit, highlighting it as a valuable asset for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.
