Riley Herbst Joins Brandon Jones on the Front Row at Dover Motor Speedway for Xfinity Race

Brandon Jones secures pole position in Dover Xfinity starting lineup

Brandon Jones has secured his third career Xfinity pole at Dover Motor Speedway on Friday, winning his 10th career series pole with a lap of 156.863 mph. Riley Herbst, who finished second last week at Talladega, qualified at 156.781 mph and will share the front row with Jones.

Four drivers are competing for the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus from Xfinity this weekend, including Justin Allgaier who qualified third at 156.672 mph and Austin Hill in fourth with a lap of 156.060 mph. Sheldon Creed finished fifth with a lap of 155.851 mph while Kyle Weatherman set a career-best sixth place finish with a lap of 155.689 mph.

Jesse Love is eighth, Ryan Sieg is in 14th and Anthony Alfredo in 21st position on the starting grid as they all vie for the Dash 4 Cash bonus alongside Herbst. The Xfinity race is scheduled to start at 1:47 p.m ET Saturday on FS1. With an impressive history of thrilling races at Dover Motor Speedway, it’s sure to be an exciting event for fans and racers alike.
