Rising from Garage to Award-Winning: Greyloch, LLC’s Journey in Star

Risch Designates Greyloch, LLC as Small Business of the Month for May – Press Release

Greyloch, LLC in Star has been recognized as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for May 2024 by U.S. Senator Jim Risch. The senior senator, who is also a former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the company’s achievements in his statement.

Greyloch was founded by Shaun Fickes in a garage and has since grown to occupy over 96,000 square feet in Star. The company’s unique cabinet manufacturing facility is named after a peak near Lowman where Shaun’s grandfather worked as an Idaho forest ranger. Today, Greyloch is owned and operated by Shaun and his four children, who employ 73 people who are passionate about their work for Idaho.

The recognition from Senator Risch comes as no surprise to many who know Greyloch’s commitment to excellence in its industry. The company has consistently been at the forefront of innovation and customer service, earning it numerous accolades over the years. In addition to being a leader in its field, Greyloch is also deeply committed to giving back to its community through various charitable initiatives and sponsorships of local events.

“I am proud to recognize Greyloch, LLC as our May Small Business of the Month,” said Senator Risch. “This company embodies everything that makes Idaho special – hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to our community.” He added that Greyloch’s success serves as an inspiration for entrepreneurs across the state and beyond.

Overall, this recognition from Senator Risch highlights the important contributions that small businesses make to our communities and economy. As we continue to celebrate these achievements throughout the year, we are reminded of why Idaho is consistently ranked as one of the best places in the country to do business.
