Ryan Slocum, a Computer Science student graduating in 2024 from the College of Engineering and Applied Science at CU Boulder, recently received the Academic Engagement Award. The award recognized his dedication to various campus programs and opportunities, including the President’s Leadership Class, three internships, and his role as a Teaching Assistant. Additionally, Slocum spearheaded an initiative to map the leadership landscape at CU Boulder for the Center for Leadership, showcasing his commitment to personal growth and excellence in execution.

Personally, he aims to compete in a 100-mile ultramarathon while professionally pursuing a graduate degree in robotics with plans to work on impactful projects in that field.
