Shohei Ohtani Leads Dodgers to Victory over Marlins with Powerful Performance

Dodgers Secure Victory Over Marlins with Solid Performance by Buehler

The Los Angeles Dodgers won 6-3 against the Miami Marlins on Monday night, thanks in part to Shohei Ohtani’s remarkable power display. Ohtani hit his fourth home run in three games, making him the first player to reach that mark this year. His two-run homer tied the game at 2-all with a 441-foot blast to center field off Roddery Muñoz.

The game marked Walker Buehler’s return to the starting lineup after almost two years, and he went four innings, allowing three runs and six hits, with Ryan Yarbrough and Alex Vesia pitching in relief. Despite allowing two runs in the first inning, Buehler regained his composure and settled down to pitch an overall solid game.

Other players who contributed to the Dodgers’ win included James Outman and Teoscar Hernández, who also hit home runs. The Marlins scored three runs, with one coming from a leadoff homer by Nick Gordon. The team recorded at least four home runs in a game for the second time in three games.

In terms of injuries, the Marlins activated INF Jake Burger while the Dodgers placed RHP Joe Kelly on the injured list. OF Jason Heyward is progressing in his recovery from lower back tightness but has not yet started a rehab stint. The next game will feature Miami RHP Edward Cabrera against Dodgers RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
