Travelers booking flights with Etihad Airways can choose to add a stopover in Abu Dhabi and select a free hotel stay for one or two nights from a selection of leading hotels in the city. This exclusive stopover program is only available when booking directly through the Etihad Airways website.
Saleh Mohammed Al Jaziri, Director General of Tourism at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement about collaborating with Etihad Airways to showcase the best of the emirate to visitors, encouraging them to return for longer holidays. Antonaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways shared their goal of attracting 100,000 visitors to Abu Dhabi through the stopover program and emphasized the unique experiences that await travelers in this capital city.
Abu Dhabi’s attractions cater to a diverse range of interests, including desert safaris and pristine beaches, cultural landmarks and theme parks. Travelers using boarding passes for Etihad Airways flights can also enjoy discounts at various attractions and restaurants through the “Abu Dhabi Card.” The city’s convenient location at Zayed International Airport allows travelers to connect seamlessly with over 70 global destinations while on their journey.
