Summerville Fire Causes Smoke and Water Damage to Multiple Businesses on Sunday Morning

Early Morning Business Fire Prompted Response from Summerville Fire Crews

Sunday morning, multiple businesses in Summerville, South Carolina suffered smoke and water damage after a fire broke out at one of them. The incident occurred on the 1200 block of Old Trolley Road, and Summerville Police closed Old Trolley Road at Beverly Drive around 4:30 a.m. while Summerville Fire & Rescue responded to the call.

Upon arrival, crews noticed that there were no signs of fire from the outside. However, upon entry, they encountered smoke and heat, indicating that a fire was present. The fire was quickly located and controlled in less than five minutes. Unfortunately, neighboring businesses were affected by smoke and water damage.
