Survivor Naomi Ebenstein Condemns Anti-Semitism: ‘A Victory for Haters’

Fear of vandalism leads to covering Holocaust memorial in Great Britain

Naomi Ebenstein, an 82-year-old Holocaust survivor, has condemned recent acts of anti-Semitism as “shameful” and a “victory” for those who seek to undermine the Jewish community. She emphasized the urgency of addressing this scourge, particularly in light of the swastikas raised in London and the growing pro-Palestinian protests that have raised concerns about hate marches.

Lord Pickles, a staunch advocate for a national Holocaust memorial near the Houses of Parliament, expressed his dismay at the memorial being covered in a tarp out of fear of vandalism. He questioned whether the country had become so afraid that it was hiding monuments to protect them from destruction rather than expecting protesters to respect the law.

Amidst these troubling events, there is a growing concern about the rise of anti-Semitism and the need for action to address and combat this issue. Leaders and survivors alike are speaking out against these acts of hatred and calling for solidarity and awareness to fight against all forms of discrimination.

Naomi Ebenstein’s condemnation of recent acts of anti-Semitism serves as a stark reminder of the importance of addressing this issue head-on. As we move forward, it is crucial that we come together as a global community to combat all forms of discrimination and promote peace and understanding across all cultures and communities.
