Taste the Best of Bozeman: Restaurant Week Showcases Local Eateries and Chefs

Restaurants in Bozeman discuss the impact of Downtown Bozeman Restaurant Week on their businesses

Restaurant Week is currently taking place in Downtown Bozeman, featuring nearly 30 local eateries on Main Street. The event aims to showcase new food items and menu specials to the community. One of the participating restaurants, Sidewall Pizza, is offering $10 calzones during the event, which has been drawing in new customers and creating a lively atmosphere for the staff.

According to Gillen Greene, the general manager of Bacchus Pub, the timing of Restaurant Week is perfect as it falls during a shoulder season when tourism is low. This provides an opportunity for locals to experience the diverse food scene in Bozeman without the usual crowds. Greene emphasizes that the event not only benefits the restaurants but also supports the community by bringing people together to enjoy good food and company.

During Restaurant Week, Bacchus Pub has added four new food items to their menu, including unique offerings like portobello fries, haddock tacos, lemon bars, and fudge brownies. The event encourages locals to visit multiple restaurants by providing punch cards. After trying five different specials, diners can enter their card to win prizes, creating a fun and interactive experience for all participants.

The goal of Downtown Bozeman Restaurant Week is to highlight the culinary gems in the area and showcase the creativity and talent of local chefs. With the growing food scene in Bozeman, this event serves as a platform for restaurants to shine and attract new customers. The event runs through Sunday, April 28th, so there’s still time to explore
