Augusta Health Appoints New Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Timothy Norton has been appointed as the new Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Augusta Health. He will succeed Jean Veilleux, who will retire in July after four years of service. Norton previously worked at Health First in Melbourne, Florida, as the Vice President and Deputy Chief Legal Counsel. Before that, he was the Assistant General Counsel at WellSpan Health in York, Pennsylvania.

Mary N. Mannix, the President and CEO of Augusta Health, expressed her pleasure in welcoming Norton to the team. She cited his extensive experience in healthcare legal and regulatory affairs as an asset to the organization. Norton is a native of Virginia Beach and holds a degree from George Mason University School of Law. He also earned an LL.M. degree in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
