UC Health Leads the Way in Combatting Climate Change through Comprehensive Resilience Plans

Progress Report Released by UC Health on Climate Pledge Commitments

UC Health, part of the University of California system, is committed to improving the health and well-being of all individuals through exceptional clinical care, education of future health professionals, and research. In light of the growing threat of climate change, UC Health recognizes the need for urgent climate action.

As a participant in the Health Sector Climate Pledge, UC Health is working with over 130 organizations and 900 hospitals to develop comprehensive and equitable climate resilience plans across its system. The report released by UC Health details the progress made by individual Health Centers and outlines the next steps in its resilience planning journey.
