UnBar Cafe owner wins $20,000 prize at JumpStart Small Business Impact Program Showcase

UnBar Cafe, a new addition to Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, recently opened its doors. The cafe is owned by Melissa Garrett, who won the top prize of $20,000 at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase. The event, held at Cleveland’s House of Blues, celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program.

The showcase featured a pitch competition emceed by former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs and his wife Maria Cribbs. The couple are known for hosting a local television talk show. The event was presented by the Cleveland Browns as well.
