A 61-year-old man visited the doctor with symptoms of thick lips and an unusually large nose, which led to the discovery of a pituitary tumor and multiple dangerous underlying diseases. Despite claiming to be healthy and having never had a health check before, the man had been experiencing fatigue, headaches, and blurred vision, prompting him to seek medical attention at Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital.
Upon examination, Doctor Nguyen Thi Lan Huong from the Department of Endocrinology – Diabetes observed abnormalities in the patient’s external appearance, such as thick lips, big nose, rough skin, loud voice, and enlarged bones in the extremities.
