The Wichita County Public Health is thrilled to announce the return of their annual Public Health Fair, after a two-year hiatus. We had the pleasure of speaking with Karel Davis in our studio to learn more about this exciting event taking place on April 4 from 3 to 6 p.m.
This year’s fair promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring over forty community partners with booths offering giveaways, education, and activities for all ages. One of the highlights of the fair will be the presence of animal services, who will be waiving adoption fees and providing free microchipping for Wichita Falls residents.
In addition to the various organizations participating, there will be games and scavenger hunts for attendees to enjoy. The theme for this year’s fair is Super Heros, Super Health, so don’t forget to come dressed in your best superhero costume.
The event will be held at 1700 3rd street, across from the waterfalls, and promises to be a fun and educational experience for the whole family. Whether you’re young or young at heart, be sure to mark your calendars and join in on the festivities. This is a completely free event, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to engage with your community and learn more about public health initiatives. Copyright 2024 KAUZ. All rights reserved.
