2024 Class of Outstanding Business Leaders Honored in Michigan: Celebrating the Spirit of Modernization and Entrepreneurship

The 2024 Class of Outstanding Business Leaders will be honored on April 6 at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. This annual event, now in its 44th year, recognizes modern business leaders who have made significant contributions to the free enterprise system. Northwood University is proud to celebrate these exceptional leaders and their contributions to the business community.

Vice President of Advancement Murray Kyte emphasized that the event aligns with the ethos of both Northwood University and Henry Ford, showcasing America’s rich business culture and the spirit of modernization and entrepreneurship. The celebration will take place at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, a fitting venue for honoring these outstanding individuals.

The 2024 Class of Outstanding Business Leaders includes Mamadou Diallo, Thomas Latham, Sarah Rowley Opperman, Chris Pruitt, and Ret. Ambassador John Rakolta Jr. Eric D. July will also be receiving the Richard DeVos Young Entrepreneur Award for his work as CEO and founder of Rippaverse, a comic book company. Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional leadership and success in their respective industries.

Northwood President Kent MacDonald expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the historical and innovative backdrop that the museum and the state of Michigan offer. This year’s winners represent a diverse group of business leaders who have made a lasting impact on the business world. The Outstanding Business Leaders Awards honor these individuals for their innovation, entrepreneurship, and dedication to the principles of the free enterprise system.
