A murder-suicide in Santa Ana has left two victims dead, with new details emerging about the tragic events that took place. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Jordan Block and 64-year-old Brian Martin.

According to reports, Block was visiting her uncle on Thursday when her boyfriend arrived at the scene. The niece made a frantic 911 call, reporting that her boyfriend had attacked both her and her uncle. Despite a swift response by officers, both victims were already deceased.

The woman who rents a unit in the business complex where the victims were found described Martin as cordial to all tenants and someone who used to teach women’s self-defense classes. It was noted that Martin had a large collection of ancient swords, one of which was found outside the garage covered in blood.

The niece’s boyfriend was found at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was in critical condition as of Friday. The motive behind the tragic event is still being investigated.
