Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis were awarded a $6.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop a gene therapy that can modify the immune system’s B cells to produce antibodies against HIV. This breakthrough could lead to a significant advancement in the fight against the disease.
