Emplify Health: Formerly Bellin Health, Gundersen Health System

Recently, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System have officially merged to form Emplify Health. The new name is a combination of the words “empathy” and “amplify,” reflecting their shared goal of increasing access to healthcare, fostering a culture of empathy, and improving population health outcomes for their patients and communities.

In the coming months, the Emplify Health brand will be integrated into the health system, with all Bellin and Gundersen hospitals and clinics adopting the new name. However, entities like Gundersen Medical Foundation and The Bellin Health Foundation will retain their current names, as their identities are deeply rooted in their associations with other hospitals. Contributions to these foundations will continue to support the causes designated by the donors.

Patients who receive care from Emplify Health can expect to continue seeing the same providers and staff at the same locations they are familiar with. Rathgaber anticipates that the full transition to Emplify Health will take several years to complete. As the process unfolds, the focus will remain on delivering high-quality healthcare services to the communities they serve.
