French bakers successfully bring home world’s longest baguette, setting a new record

Bakers in France recently broke a new Guinness World Record for baking the longest baguette at 435.1 feet. The team of chefs in the Paris suburb of Suresnes surpassed the previous record held by Italian bakers in Cuomo.

To have a record verified and recognized by Guinness World Records, individuals or groups must apply for the attempt to be reviewed. The application process can take several weeks, and record breakers may opt for priority applications for a quicker review. Evidence of the attempt must be submitted for review, and applicants have the option to have an adjudicator present during the attempt.

Achieving a Guinness World Record requires careful planning, execution, and evidence to support the record-breaking feat. The French bakers were thrilled to have beaten their Italian counterparts and earned the title of baking the world’s longest baguette.
