Girl Escapes Sexual Assault at Chicago Museum by Suspected Stranger

Seeking a Suspect in Child Sex Abuse at Museum of Science and Industry – NBC Chicago

A 10-year-old girl got separated from her group at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago on Thursday. She was approached by a suspect who offered to help her find them. The suspect took the child to the museum’s second floor and when the girl asked to use the restroom, he followed her.

While in the restroom, the suspect entered the room and crawled under the stall door, touching the child inappropriately. The girl managed to kick towards the offender who then fled from the restroom.

Chicago police are searching for a suspect who sexually abused a girl at the museum located at 5700 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive. The suspect is described as being between 30 to 40 years old, weighing between 160 to 180 pounds, and standing between 5 feet 10 inches tall to 6 feet 3 inches tall. He has curly light brown hair, a beard, and a tattoo of a roaring lion on his neck.

The incident occurred on Thursday when a young girl became separated from her group while exploring the museum’s exhibits. She was approached by a man who offered help but later led her away from her group and into an isolated area where she was molested. The suspect fled after she managed to fight him off with kicks and ran out of sight.
