Gladstone’s BraveBots Robotics Team Represents at Global Competition in Houston | Local News, Sports, and Employment

The Gladstone BraveBots robotics team recently competed in the World competition held in Houston, Texas. Cheered on by supporters, the team made it to the World competition after excelling in the state competition. Despite facing tough opposition from North Carolina and California, they emerged victorious with a strong finish, winning their last seven games for an overall record of 8-2.

Coach Tim Barron praised the team’s dedication and hard work, especially highlighting the efforts of the seniors who led the team. Although they have since graduated, Barron expressed optimism for the future of BraveBots with a talented group of underclassmen stepping up to take their place.

The competition spanned three days, with long hours of work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., each day. Mentors played a crucial role in ensuring that BraveBots were successful in competitions by donating their time and expertise generously. The team recognized their mentors’ valuable contributions and expressed gratitude for their support throughout their journey.
