Check Technology Acquired by Innovative Motion Technologies

Innovative Motion Technologies, a leading provider of interface and control solutions based in Germantown, WI, has recently acquired Check Technology, a company specializing in flexible heating systems based in Troy, MI. The specifics of the deal were not disclosed. This acquisition will strengthen IMT’s strategic position in the healthcare, agriculture, and off-road vehicle markets.

Founded in 1993, Check Technology has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing heating and control systems for various applications across different industries. With facilities located in Troy, Michigan, the company has a long history of producing American-made control modules.

IMT is led by CEO Rich Weeden and provides an industrial technology platform that designs and supplies interface and control solutions for OEM and aftermarket applications. The company operates under two brands: Raffel Systems and Micro-Air. Raffel Systems focuses on electro-mechanical controls for residential, healthcare, industrial, cinema, and hospitality markets while Micro-Air specializes on environmental controls for residential recreational vehicle HVAC marine applications.

With this acquisition IMT will expand its offerings and capabilities allowing them to better serve their customers across a broader range of industries.
