Exciting Additions to Lubbock Business Scene: New April Shops, Dawna Gillespie, and More

This week brought a flurry of exciting news to discuss. On Wednesday, two new businesses opened their doors, each offering unique and exciting experiences for customers. Cyrus Kabob, located at 421 Frankford Ave., welcomed visitors with its family’s Persian recipes at their new restaurant. Additionally, Hairbreak Hotel at 2614 130th St., Unit 3., debuted its Elvis Presley-themed hair salon and introduced its exclusive line of beard oil.

On Thursday, another new hair salon, Lil Homiez Barbershop and Salon, opened at 5302 Ave. Q, Suite 17. In addition to these openings, two articles were published from the business beat on Wednesday. One featured Dawna Gillespie of Dawna Gillespie Adornments, an internationally recognized designer who found her passion for metalsmithing at Texas Tech. Gillespie’s work aims to represent the human life, from soul to soul, through unique and individual pieces.
