Stormy Daniels Testifies in Trump Accounting Trial: A Look into the Sexual Allegations

Stormy Daniels gave testimony at Trump’s trial

Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, testified in court that she had sexual activity with Donald Trump in a suite at Lake Tahoe after a golf tournament in July 2006. Trump has denied these allegations. Clifford appeared in court in a criminal trial in New York where Trump was accused of accounting crimes related to hush money payments made to Clifford before the 2016 US presidential election.

According to her testimony, Clifford was invited by Trump’s security guard for dinner after the golf tournament. She initially declined but eventually agreed at the insistence of her colleague. In the hotel suite, Trump was wearing satin pajamas and engaged in conversation with her about her work in adult entertainment and STD tests.

Clifford described how she found Trump lying in bed after going to the bathroom and how she ended up having sex with him. She expressed feeling nervous and ashamed afterward. During her testimony, prosecutors posed numerous questions, which were objected to by Trump’s lawyers. The judge often urged Clifford to stay on topic and give shorter answers.

Prosecutors argued that Clifford’s testimony was crucial to establishing the events that took place and bolstering her credibility. However, they faced opposition from Trump’s legal team who maintained his innocence and claimed that the trial was part of a political hunt against him. Throughout the proceedings, Trump appeared to close his eyes while Clifford provided her testimony.
